At PCS & KEYS, customer satisfaction is important to us. We take pride in designing, building, and delivering high-quality custom computers, mechanical keyboards, and technology products. This Refund Policy explains when refunds, returns, exchanges, and order cancellations may be available.
By placing an order through pcsandkeys.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy.
 
OUR COMMITMENT
 
Every custom computer and keyboard built by PCS & KEYS is assembled, tested, and inspected before shipment. Because many of our products are built to customer specifications, not all purchases are eligible for cancellation, return, or refund.
Whenever possible, our team will work with you to resolve any concerns fairly and professionally.
 
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
 
Orders may be cancelled before production or fulfillment begins.
Once assembly, customization, testing, or production has started, cancellation may no longer be possible because materials and labor have already been committed to your order.
If an order qualifies for cancellation before production begins, any eligible refund will be processed to the original payment method.
 
CUSTOM-BUILT COMPUTERS
 
Custom-built desktop computers are assembled specifically for each customer.
Because these systems are personalized and built to your selected specifications:
• Custom-built computers are generally not eligible for return or refund simply because you changed your mind.
• If your system arrives damaged, defective, or does not substantially match the confirmed order, PCS & KEYS will work with you to repair, replace, or otherwise resolve the issue in accordance with this Refund Policy and our Warranty Policy.
• Any approved return must receive prior authorization before being shipped back.
 
CUSTOM MECHANICAL KEYBOARDS
 
Custom mechanical keyboards are assembled according to each customer’s selected options.
Due to their personalized nature:
• Custom keyboards are generally not eligible for return due to preference changes.
• Approved warranty issues will be handled under the PCS & KEYS Warranty Policy.
• Manufacturing defects reported within the applicable warranty period will be evaluated for repair, replacement, or other appropriate resolution.
 
STANDARD PRODUCTS
 
Eligible non-custom products that have not been used, installed, modified, or damaged may qualify for return within the return period specified by PCS & KEYS.
Returned products must generally:
• Be in original condition
• Include original packaging
• Include all accessories
• Include manuals and documentation when applicable
• Show no signs of misuse or damage
Returned products that do not meet these conditions may not qualify for a refund.
 
MARKETPLACE PURCHASES
 
Marketplace items sold by independent sellers may have different return policies.
Customers should carefully review each listing before completing a purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, Marketplace sellers are responsible for handling returns and refunds for their own listings.
PCS & KEYS may assist in resolving disputes when appropriate but is not automatically responsible for refunds involving third-party Marketplace sellers.
 
WEEKLY AUCTIONS
 
All purchases made through PCS & KEYS Weekly Auctions are considered final unless:
• The item arrives damaged during shipping.
• The item received materially differs from its description.
• Applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Winning bidders are encouraged to carefully review auction descriptions before placing a bid.
 
RETURN REQUESTS
 
If you believe your purchase qualifies for a return, you must contact PCS & KEYS before returning any product.
Return requests should include:
• Order Number
• Full Name
• Email Address
• Description of the Issue
• Photos or Videos (if applicable)
• Any other information that may help us evaluate your request
Products returned without prior authorization may be refused or returned to the sender.
 
RETURN AUTHORIZATION
 
If your return request is approved, PCS & KEYS will provide return instructions, including the return shipping address and any additional requirements.
Receiving a Return Authorization does not guarantee a refund. All returned products must first be inspected by our team.
 
PRODUCT INSPECTION
 
Every returned product is inspected upon arrival.
During inspection, we verify:
• Product condition
• Serial numbers (when applicable)
• Included accessories
• Original packaging
• Physical damage
• Signs of misuse
• Missing components
• Unauthorized modifications
Inspection helps ensure that returned products qualify under this Refund Policy.
 
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
 
If your order arrives damaged or appears defective:
• Contact PCS & KEYS as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
• Retain all original packaging.
• Do not discard shipping materials until instructed.
• Provide photographs of the packaging and the product.
• Provide a description of the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, PCS & KEYS may repair, replace, or otherwise resolve the issue.
 
SHIPPING DAMAGE
 
If damage occurred during shipping:
• Report the damage promptly.
• Keep all packaging materials.
• Cooperate with any carrier inspection requirements.
PCS & KEYS may assist in filing claims with the shipping carrier when appropriate.
 
REFUND PROCESSING
 
Once an approved return has been received and inspected, eligible refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on:
• Your financial institution
• Payment provider
• Credit card issuer
• Banking system
Processing timeframes outside of PCS & KEYS are not under our control.
SHIPPING CHARGES
Unless required by law or otherwise stated by PCS & KEYS:
• Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.
• Return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer.
• If PCS & KEYS determines that an error was made on our part, we may provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs at our discretion.
 
EXCHANGES
 
Where appropriate, PCS & KEYS may offer exchanges instead of refunds.
Exchanges may be available for:
• Manufacturer defects
• Shipping damage
• Incorrect products shipped
• Approved warranty situations
Availability of replacement products depends on current inventory.
 
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
 
The following items generally are not eligible for return or refund unless required by applicable law:
• Custom-built desktop computers
• Custom mechanical keyboards
• Personalized products
• Marketplace products sold by third-party sellers (unless their individual policy allows)
• Auction purchases (except as described in this policy)
• Downloadable digital products
• Gift cards
• Products damaged through misuse, abuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
 
REFUSED OR UNDELIVERABLE SHIPMENTS
 
If a shipment is refused by the customer or returned because of an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, PCS & KEYS may deduct any applicable shipping, handling, or return costs from any eligible refund.
Additional shipping charges may apply if reshipment is requested.
 
CHARGEBACKS
 
If you believe an error has occurred with your order or payment, we encourage you to contact PCS & KEYS before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution.
Many issues can be resolved quickly through our Customer Support team.
Submitting a fraudulent or unwarranted chargeback may result in:
• Suspension of your PCS & KEYS account
• Cancellation of pending orders
• Removal of Marketplace privileges
• Removal of Auction privileges
• Collection activity where permitted by law
Nothing in this section limits your legal rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
 
FRAUD PREVENTION
 
To protect our customers and business, PCS & KEYS reserves the right to:
• Verify payment information
• Request identity verification
• Delay shipment while payment is confirmed
• Cancel orders suspected of fraud
• Refuse transactions that present an unreasonable risk of fraudulent activity
These measures help protect both our customers and PCS & KEYS from unauthorized transactions.
 
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
 
International customers are responsible for:
• Import duties
• Customs fees
• Taxes
• Brokerage fees
• Other charges imposed by their country
Unless required by law, PCS & KEYS does not refund customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or similar charges assessed by governmental authorities.
Customers are encouraged to review local import regulations before placing an international order.
 
REFUNDS FOR PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
 
If a purchase included promotional pricing, discounts, coupons, bundled offers, or free gifts, PCS & KEYS reserves the right to adjust the refund amount to reflect the actual purchase value of the returned items.
If promotional items or free gifts are not returned when required, their value may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law.
 
WARRANTY CLAIMS
 
Products covered by a PCS & KEYS Warranty should generally be processed through our Warranty Policy rather than our Refund Policy.
If a product develops a covered defect after delivery, the appropriate remedy may include:
• Troubleshooting
• Repair
• Replacement
• Replacement components
• Other remedies available under the applicable warranty

LIMITATION OF REFUNDS
 
Refunds will not be issued for:
• Customer preference changes after production has begun
• Normal wear and tear
• Cosmetic damage occurring after delivery

• Software issues caused by third-party applications or user modifications unless otherwise required by law
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
